I'm Meghan
Hi! I am Meghan! Photography was never more than a hobby until I was 16 and picked up my Mom's Canon 60d and read the manual cover to cover! Starting a business at 16 wasn't on my radar, but has become the most beautiful journey! I love the relationships I get to build with our clients and the lives that we get invited into! I love combining my love for photography and entrepreneurial passion to create a business that tells other's stories!
Hopeless romantic (and total Enneagram 2), lover of light, travel, Jesus, and french fries!

Traveling
I had never been on an airplane until late 2019 and now I've been on over 100 flights. Traveling the world feeds my love of adventure and inspires my artistic heart! Favorite locations have included Lake Como Italy, Hawaii, Grand Tetons and Key West!

Dog mom
So in love with my fur baby Cocker Spaniel, Lady Mae, named after Lady and the Tramp and the Tyler Childers song!

Gluten Free
Being a foodie and having a gluten allergy has it's challenges! I love exploring new foods and different options. You also can't beat Chick-Fil-A's gluten free bun!

SOuthern Girl
Southern girl born and raised I love sweet tea, seersucker, pearls and beautiful Charleston is my favorite city in the world!

Annual Pass holder here! We love to slip down to Orlando as often as possible

Newlywed
Married in spring 2021 I'm still (sort of) a newlywed. It was so eye opening being on the other side of the camera and walking through the sweet season my wedding couples are in!

Hi! I am Crosby! I found my love for photography on the beaches of Hunting Island growing up. I loved capturing the stars at night and telling the stories of the island I loved! Now I love telling people's stories everyday with photos and videos!

I have so many memories growing up and vacationing at Disney World, I love it so much I even proposed to Meghan there!

The Low country
I grew up spending my summers camping on the beaches of Hunting Island. It was there my love for photography began as I stayed up all night capturing photos of the stars.

Some may see it as a challenge, but I see it as a super power. Thinking differently helps me see the world differently and be more creative! Plus I am in good company with Walt Disney, Edison, Nikola Tesla

Traveling has always been a passion of mine. I worked in the airline industy for 3 years which only fueled my love of travel even more!

Hi! I'm Micaela! When I was in high school I always thought art school was the next step for me, but God opened the door for photography! The perfect combination of art and building relationships with people! My special role is to make sure you feel comfortable in front of the camera! From giving you natural poses or prompts to ensure you never feel awkward and that we can capture your true self!

Hi! I am Riley! A new mom to a sweet little boy! Becoming a mom has helped me realize all the more of the importance of documenting these fleeting life stages! My role is to keep the back end of True Foundation Photography running smoothly and help care for our team members and clients to ensure they have everything they need!

With a background in interior design and fashion I love helping clients perfect their photos as well as designing and consulting about products in our print consultations to create the best design for each home! In my free time I am usually enjoying the low country and playing with my cocker spaniel puppy!

A generation left without a tangible heritage or the power of love lost without a documented legacy. We commit to always keep Christ as the foundation of our business in acknowledgment of the greater purpose of this business as we glorify God through serving our clients. We hold ourselves to the standards of quality, integrity and service as we offer our clients an experience with photographs that enriches and extends the value of the moments they share with us and forever reminds them of what makes their life so beautiful.
our name
True Foundation is inspired from a verse in the Bible (1 Corinthians 3:11) that has always guided us through life. Whatever we did our parents always encouraged us to make sure our foundation was true, unshakable, built on the unmovable rock of Jesus Christ, so that no matter what circumstance came our way we would not be moved. That our lives would never waver because of the foundation we committed to lay was steadfast in the truth of the Gospel. Photography really laid a foundation for our future that enables us to not only do what we love together, but to live the life we were called to live in Jesus Christ. We feel that as photographers we capture moments in people's lives that are life changing...Whether they are graduating from high school or college, getting married, starting a family, etc... they are all laying a foundation for a new chapter in their lives. We grew up with a passion of telling stories in every form! Whether it was dancing, writing, painting, singing, etc... if there was a story to be told we wanted to tell it! We feel so blessed to say that our passion became our career and we love that every day we get to preserve and document the amazing stories of so many beautiful lives!
